If you would like to volunteer to work in your child's classroom, you must be fingerprinted with Mt. Diablo Unified School District. Please click here to access their webpage.
You may report your child's absences (Mrs. Robertson) as follows:
Please report your child's name, teacher, date of absence, and your name and relationship to the child.
District policy states that absences must be cleared within 72 hours or will remain unexcused.
We would appreciate your feedback and suggestions as we continue to update Hidden Valley's website. What would you find helpful to have on our new site? Have you found broken links, or pages with problems? Please send an e-mail to us with your ideas. Thanks!
Community Climate Survey
The purpose of this survey is to obtain parent perceptions about the school. The information you provide will help guide district and school efforts to promote safety, enhance learning supports, and improve student achievement. If you have more than one child at this school, you will only need to complete one survey for this school using your oldest child as a reference. The survey window is February 6, 2017 to March 30, 2917. Click here for more information.
Change of Address
If you move from your current address, please come into the school office to complete a Change of Address form. Please bring verification with you of your new address. If you move out of our district and would like your student to stay at Hidden Valley, you have two weeks to obtain a release from the new district.
Principal's March Newsletter
Dear Hidden Valley Community,
It’s hard to believe we are already well into March, with just 3 full months of school left until the end of the year. There will be many awesome events between now and June, including the Dinner Auction that will be taking place this Saturday, March 11th at the Concord Hilton. I hope you will be able to join us for an incredible night of fun and celebration – 1980’s style!
The March weather forecast is calling for yet more rain. Please keep in mind that umbrellas do create problems and safety issues at school. In addition to sometimes being used as swords and light sabers, they also drip water on the floor, and often get misplaced or left behind. It is preferable for your child to wear a raincoat with a hood instead of carrying an umbrella around at school.
At our February School Site Council meeting, we approved this year’s Safety Plan. As part of this year’s plan, we are looking for parent volunteers to help assist the school in case of an emergency or disaster, such as a major earthquake. If you are willing to come to the school and assist school personnel, we would appreciate it if you could sign up and fill out a short survey about any pertinent skills or training you may have. Thank you for your support and assistance.
