Parent Reminders
-
Visitors and volunteers should come to the school office before being on campus. You need to sign in, get a visitor/volunteer badge and sign out when finished.
-
Volunteers must be district fingerprinted with a negative TB test and cleared to volunteer. Fingerprinting is done by appointment only. Appointments are year-round with very high volume in August-October. Please apply early if you want to volunteer at the beginning of the school year.
-
Fingerprint appointments for volunteers are now done on-line through the District website. Please go to www.mdusd.org. Click on Parents & Community and then the Parent Portal. That will bring up the Quick Link Box. Then go to Volunteer Instructions. Everything is available to you at this site with instructions on how to make an appointment on-line.
-
For safety reasons, please deliver your children to the patio area at school no earlier than 7:45 am. There is no adult supervision until that time.
-
When picking children up, please wait on the patio until the bell rings.
-
If you need to pick you student up early, please notify the teacher in advance (if possible), come to the office to sign your student out, then you may go to the classroom.
-
Please pick your student up on time! If there is an occasional day you will be late, contact the office. It's not fair to your child or the office staff to be picked up late on a regular basis. You should have an alternate plan or child care if you will be more than 15 minutes late daily. The office is not a daycare and the office staff has end of the day work to be completed.
-
Please be sure to notify the office any time any of your contact information changes (cell number, work number, emergency contacts, etc.) In an emergency, we need to have accurate phone numbers. You may also log in to your homelink parent portal to make changes and update any contact information.
Thank you!!!
