Fourth Grade Lessons

all 4th grade classes

Hello 4th grade families!

We hope that everyone is healthy and well.  Please bear with us as a school as we try to figure out how to best handle this situation.  We all want what is best for our students given the circumstances. Below, is a list of activities that you can have your child work on during this time off.  Please note that we are unable to grade this work and that it will not count toward our trimester, but it is still valuable. It is amazing how quickly students forget, and can slide backwards.

  1.  Read. Please read daily!  We can’t stress how important this is. We have made so much progress this year!!

  2. Clever. Use this link to get onto Clever where so many of our classroom resources are. From here, students can log onto i-Ready, Brittanica, and BrainPop.

  3. Need some printable pages? Use the following links to get to math or reading.

  4. Please have your student log in to Google Classroom. We will post work there as well.  Please be patient as we navigate through this. We’ve never really used it without being there alongside our students!

  5. Sumdog is always fun!  This is a math game that the students enjoy.

  6. Finally, check out this cool thing with author Mo Willems! Looks like fun!

Please know that we miss your children. We hope that we can all get back together soon.  In the meantime, we hope that you can get some quality family time. Play a board game! Tell jokes! Write crazy stories together.  Most of all, stay healthy. We will see you soon. Last thing, please forward this email if you talk to a family, and they somehow aren't on my email list.  Or just forward it if you know someone who needs information!

Sincerely,

The 4th Grade Team
