Transfers
Intradistrict transfers are for students who reside inside the MDUSD boundaries requesting to transfer to another MDUSD school.
The Intradistrict Transfer Application for grades 1-12 will be available online from October 10 - November 10 (includes Kindergarten for Sequoia and Monte Gardens)
The Intradistrict Transfer Application for Kindergarten will be available online from February 10 - March 10 (except Sequoia and Monte Gardens)
MDUSD MAY DENY INTERDISTRICT TRANSFERS DUE TO DECLINING ENROLLMENT
Request Period for incoming requests: March 15 – July 21
Request Period for outgoing requests: March 15 - August 4

REMINDER: ONLY ONE TRANSFER PER STUDENT PER SCHOOL YEAR WILL BE PROCESSED
Parent/guardian may only apply for one transfer per student during a school year. If parents/guardians applied for an Intradistrict Transfer (a transfer within MDUSD), then a subsequent Interdistrict Transfer (a transfer between MDUSD and another school district) will not be accepted.
